Windows Live Distribution Groups
A distribution group is a feature built into the Valdosta State University e-mail system, Windows Live, that allows users to create impromptu mailing lists. The advantage to using a distribution group is that you can modify it yourself as the need arises, rather than needing to contact an e-mail administrator in order to make changes, such as the group name or group membership. The disadvantage is that only users with a VSU e-mail addresses (@valdosta.edu) can be members.
