The Charles Crouch Award for Outstanding
USG European Council Study Abroad Student

1954-2010
Charlie Crouch was a wonderful generous man who loved many things. My work with Charlie always highlighted his love for teaching, international education and France. I had the opportunity to work with Charlie on the EC Paris program when he was a faculty member, the European Council, where he served on the Executive Committee and was a founding member, and many other international education councils. Charlie was a staple in the international education community in Georgia, always willing to take on a leadership role and help make opportunities available to interested students. Charlie also loved France. He loved the history of the country, the language and the food. When he worked on the EC Paris program he showed his love of teaching and wanted the students to understand and see the country as fully as possible. Charlie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
