Come join us to live and study for two weeks in historic Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and UNESCO City of Literature and home to two World Heritage Sites. Come walk the same streets as did historic figures as Mary, Queen of Scots, Adam Smith, and William Wallace, and see the sites that inspired such literary figures as Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, John Rebus, and Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Once known as “Auld Reekie,” Edinburgh today is world renowned for its architecture, university, and castle as well as for producing some of the world’s most well-known writers such as JK Rowling, Walter Scott, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Robert Louis Stevenson. In addition to such historic sites as the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, and Greyfriar’s Kirk, Edinburgh also boasts wonderful restaurants, lively pubs, a thriving theatre and music scene, and serves as the center of Scottish politics

Paris, one of the oldest and most fascinating cities in the world, has fired the imagination of artists, writers, and students for centuries. Picture yourself spending a summer studying in the “City of Light,” the “museum without walls,” immersed in history and surrounded by some of the world’s finest art, architecture, and music. As a participant in the Paris Study Program, you won’t have to imagine these things—you can live them. The “Capital of the World” is your classroom as you study history where it was made, attend theater and music performances by world-renowned companies and ensembles, write in parks and cafés where Fitzgerald and Hemingway wrote, and learn French immersed in the language. Students will have the opportunity to visit flamenco clubs, the bullfight, tapas bars, and world-class museums, as well as to participate in Madrid’s seemingly endless nightlife, as the streets overflow with people having a glass of sangría, talking to neighbors, and in general enjoying life in this vibrant city. |

Live and study for five weeks in Germany's capitol city where you can explore the rich culture and history of this splendid city. Prior to WWII, Berlin was once Germany's capitol. After the war the city was divided into East and West, with the capitol moving to Bonn until 2000, when Germany decided to move it back "home." Since the reunification Berlin has been one big construction site, and became once again a vibrant city with a new look, but still plenty of old as well. Berlin has many museums, theaters, concert halls, and offers anything from a variety of international cuisine to neighborhood restaurants with regional cuisine. |

The European Council of the University System of Georgia offers students of all ages a unique program in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The program allows students to earn up to eight credit hours during the four weeks of class. Students can choose from classes in most disciplines including art, music, photography, business, management, history, political science, literature, language, mass communications, and Russian culture. |

Just 100 miles south of Dublin, Waterford City is home to Waterford Crystal and gives you access to many castles, houses, gardens, and prehistoric sites. West of Dungarvan is a wild and beautiful peninsula containing the historic seaside resort of Ardmore and The Gaeltacht, a unique Gaelic speaking area. Southeast of Waterford City is the East Waterford Gaultier Coast, a peninsula with a distinct Anglo-Norman character, containing the seaside resort of Dunmore East.
