While VSU students enrolled in eCore courses must follow eCore withdrawal policies, any withdrawals from eCore will be counted in VSU's limited withdrawal policy.
Please see the 5 Course Withdrawal Policy FAQ wegpage for details!!!
Welcome to the VSU eCore® web site. The eCore® courses are core curriculum classes taught via GeorgiaVIEW and are designed for students who need the flexibility and convenience of online learning. Core classes are typically those classes required during the first two years of a college degree. Since not all core curriculum classes will be available as eCore, you may need to take some core classes in a traditional classroom setting.

A welcome letter provides the student with a video that introduces them to GoVIEW and links them to their Getting Started with eCore webpage for additional information. A short video is also provided at, https://ecore.usg.edu/students/start/Login/Login.htmYou will log into your course using the link, https://go.view.usg.edu/.
- Your username is your institution e-mail identification.
- Example Jane Smith from Valdosta State University is ‘jsmith’
- The student will then use the underscore ‘_’ after the username and the institutions’ abbreviation, jsmith_vsu.
- Use the ‘Forgot Password’ option to have a password reset e-mail sent to your institution e-mail address, then once you’ve reset your password, you can login to GoVIEW
- Once you log into your course, you will note on the bottom right of your screen an area called Support Resources.
- Students will find help to ensure their Internet Browser works with D2L by selecting the Browser Check link
- For additional documentation and help, select the D2L Student Help,
- See the Maintenance link in GoVIEW for the scheduled maintenance dates for this semester. Please print this schedule or refer to it often to ensure successful completion of assignments that may be due around this time frame.
- Please remember you will not have access to your courses until the first day of class. You will find this date and other important dates on this calendar.
Students can now click on the "Forgot Password?" link from the GoVIEW login page to reset their own password. Students must enter the correct username in the correct standard (with the underscore) for the password reset information to be sent to their campus email address. After receiving the email, the student resets their password, waits 5 to 10 minutes for the change to be processed, and then the student can log into GoVIEW with his/her new password. . Please keep in mind that the student will receive an email in his/her campus email address from "donotreply@donotreply.view.usg.edu. "
The student will not see their eCore class prior to the first day of class, however, they have access to eCore Connections--Self-paced Student Tutorial, designed to help them learn to navigate within the new GoVIEW online environment before classes begin.
