Fall 2008 - Community Service Events

	Alpha Phi Sigma participated in three community service events in the fall 2008. Here the APS Vice-President and another APS member are holding up items donated to the Loftiss Regional Youth Detention Facility to stock its personal hygiene and activities closet.

In the first photo two Valdosta Fire Department Administrators are holding up two gift cards donated by APS to assist with the Inaugural Shop with a Firefighter program. In addition, they are holding up items donated to the Mayor's Motorcade that will be presented to residents of the state hospital in Thomasville, GA. In the second photo the APS member that helped purchase and delivered the items is standing next to the Valdosta Fire Department administrator after the items have been loaded into the truck and in the last photo the APS member is standing with another Valdosta Fire Department firefighter that will help deliver the donated items to the state hospital and participate in the Shop with a Firefighter program.

In spring 2008 APS hosted its 3rd annual career expo for criminal justice majors. Local, state, and federal agencies were invited.
