<P>University System of Georgia Staff Council Meeting on 5/29/97 in =
Macon,=20
Georgia spoke about Tuition Remission, and the possibility of Staff =
being=20
included in SACS. A copy of the minutes from the Staff Council Meeting =
were=20
handled. Out. Staff Luncheon is every 3<SUP>rd</SUP> Tuesday in May. The =
staff=20
luncheon is an area that COSA will help in getting the word out.<BR>

    <LI>Retirement Walkway- We will again attempt to schedule a meeting =
with the=20
    appropriate faculty senate committee. </LI></OL>

    <LI>Health/Life Insurance, Eye Care, and Pharmacy- Inman Grimsley =
states the=20
    health rates are the same for employees. The Life Insurance cost =
went down.=20
    He addressed some of the problems that were occuring with eye care =
and the=20
    pharmacy benefits. If employees are experiencing problems please =
contact the=20
    insurance office. </LI></OL></LI></OL>
