  1. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 A.M. in the President's = Dining=20 Room, Palms Dining Center.=20
  2. Minutes of the June 10, 1997 were approved with one correction = under=20 treasurer's report it should read May not April.=20
  3. Treasurer's Report - by Bill Bennett=20
  4. Election of Officers:

Chairman- Tim Yorkey=20

Vice Chairman- Beverly F Sharpe=20

Parliamentarian- Kat Decker=20

Treasurer- Bill Bennett=20

Secretary - Pat Rozier=20

  1. Report from the Chair-

Tommy Moore resigned from COSA and a replacement will be selected. =

New Parking Fees were discussed. Tentatively appointed Gloria Tonsil = and=20 Hazel Hewitt to the Parking appeals committees.

Tuition Waiver policy was discussed.

At the first meeting of the committees a chairperson will be elected. =

Some of the members brought up safety concerns and they were referred = to the=20 Environment Health and Safety office.
