- Chair, Sue Teel, called the meeting to order at 8.20 AM in the =

- Minutes of the Dec 12, 1995 meeting were approved.=20
- Treasurer's Report - Bill Bennett reported that $2394.19 was the =
balance=20
as of December 12, 1995 and as of January 9, 1996.=20

- Parking Appeals - No Report
- Employee Recognition - Sandra Denson reported that work on new=20
procedures is progressing and the existing system will be used for =
the next=20
solicitation.

- Staff Development - Pat Rozier reported that a place and date =
have been=20
set for a Stress Reduction Workshop. Ms Rousch must be contacted to =
finalize=20
the program before the campus can be informed.
- Salaries Study - No Report

- Old Business It was agreed that Bylaw section II, D was amended in =
FY 95=20
to allow a vacancy to be to be filled either by the next high vote =
received in=20
the previous election for the position, or by appointment if the next =
high=20
vote receiver can not fill the term.=20
Sue Teel will work with Council members to address an amendment =
concerning=20
missed meeting and membership.=20
The question of a single color decal for all staff and faculty was=20
presented. Sue Teel said no response has been received to the original =
memorandum.=20

Sue Teel will contact Juanita Faircloth to get the election results =
from=20
previous election to determine who should be given the opportunity to =
replace=20
Chenee Chisholm's vacant position.=20
- Other Business=20
Members speculated about the future regarding: the Regents =
redirection=20
guideline and staff development; sick leave legislation; retirement=20
legislation; workmen's compensation legislation; privatization =
guidelines;=20
academic calendar and the holiday schedule.=20
