1. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 AM in the President's =
Dining Room,=20
Palms Dining Center.
2. Minutes of the January 14, 1997 were approved.
3. Treasurer's Report - by Bill Bennett

4. Committee Reports
a. Election Recognition Committee- Holly Decker said that the =
nomination=20
forms have been returned.
b. Policy Committee - Blake Griffin passed out a copy of the Bylaws =
with the=20
new changes.
c. Welfare Committee - Beverly Sharpe reported that Memos were sent =
out by=20
Jim Black and herself to Dr. Fred Ware/Faculty Senate Executive =
Secretary on=20
behalf of the Retirement Walkway asking him to present the information =
to the=20
Executive Faculty Senate.
d. Salaries Study Committee- Tim Yorkey reported that the salary =
study should=20
be ready to present in a week.
5. Report from the Chair
Bert Rodriguez sent a memo resigning from COSA dated January 29, =
l997.
6. New Business
Two AD HOC subcommittees were formed under the Welfare = Committee to=20 discuss=20
a. Parking=20
b. BIWEEKLY staff having the option of Direct Deposit
7. Other Business
The Statewide Steering Committee will meet Monday, February 17, 1997 = at=20 Georgia College & State University in Macon, Georgia. VSU./COSA = members=20 Sandra Denson, Bill Filtz, and Beverly Sharpe will be attending.=20
