For the 2012-2013 season, 3 events are planned from which the profits go
2012-2013: The 14th Annual Cabaret Fundraiser: Enjoy a delicious meal and musical theatre entertainment as you support the Golden Circle Scholarship & Support Fund. The fund provides scholarships to outstanding Theatre and Dance majors. The evening’s entertainment will feature music from Broadway’s Tony Award winners. CINDERELLA BALLET Fundraiser For the past several years, VSU Theatre & Dance has partnered with the Valdosta School of Ballet in the production of a classic ballet benefitting the Golden Circle Scholarship & Support Fund. Back by popular demand this year is CINDERELLA. In addition to the beautiful score by Prokofiev, the production will feature elegant ballerinas, a charming prince and a pair of less-than lovely stepsisters. DANCING WITH THE VALDOSTA STARS A unique collaborative fundraiser between VSU’s Music Department and Theatre & Dance Area was the talk of the town last year and together these degree programs are presenting an encore event this year. Come enjoy the efforts of a new group local stars and their experts as they present a variety of ballroom dance styles and seek your “vote$” the evening’s big prize, the Audience Favorite Award.
