Zeppelin University: a multidisciplinary university for tomorrow's decision-makers
Zeppelin University is a state-recognized and privately funded endowment university bridging Business, Culture and Politics. Zeppelin University defines itself as an individualized, international and interdisciplinary educator of well-rounded decision makers and creative innovators in the fields of business, culture and politics, as well as a multi-disciplinary research institution exploring issues relevant to society. Zeppelin University is a “Pioneering University” which focuses on the special interests and skills of students and researchers. Our objective: the uncompromising pursuit of academic curiosity and excellence. Profile

To found a university – a private one on top – is probably one of the greatest and most meaningful adventures of our times. This is how we – the students, administrative staff, academics and sponsors – see it and all of us are aware of the special responsibility that we have taken on since 2003. We gladly take this responsibility seriously!

Location

Zeppelin University with its own campus on the shore of Lake Constance is located in a region with one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany. Embedded in the border triangle Germany-Austria-Switzerland and in the immediate vicinity to attractive metropolises such as Zurich, Munich and Stuttgart, not only sports enthusiasts find an almost endless range of offers here.

Divisions

The German Council of Science and Humanities granted Zeppelin University institutional accreditation on February 2, 2009. In addition, ZU was the first university in Germany to receive a recommendation from the Council of Science and Humanities for the autonomous entitlement to award doctoral degrees on May 30, 2011. This gave ZU the top seal of approval from the German higher-education sector and it became the first private university in Germany to be accredited twice by the Council. On September 10, 2011, ZU was granted the entitlement for awarding doctoral and post-doctoral degrees from the state of Baden-Württemberg.
