VSU Summer Study Abroad Program: Archaeology in Carsulae, Italy |

Spend 6 weeks in Carsulae, Italy. Meals will be provided five days a week, including a second breakfast in the field. Participants will be instructed in: excavation strategies and techniques, handling and conservation of artifacts, drafting of site plans, and analytical rendering. Weekend Activities: Participants will work five days a week, and are free to travel on their own over the weekends. San Gemini is less than an hour by train form Rome. Optional weekend excursions are also offered. Duration / Location: June 10 - July 21, 2012 Carsulae, Italy. The cost of the program is $4800.
