Duration / Location: May 5 - June 1, 2013 Cost: $3,890 plus VSU tuition Summary: VSU Summer Study Abroad Program: VSU in San José, Costa Rica, 2013Located in the center of Costa Rica, San José is the capital of this Central American country. You will enjoy its historic sites and all that a university town has to offer such as live music venues, film festivals, theater productions, crafts, restaurants, sports and shopping. Classes are held at ILISA Language Institute, prime educational institution where the professors utilize modern communicative techniques for language instruction. Application due date: November 27, 2012 Application The program fee includes one day excursions to Irazú Volcano, Tropical Forest (Selva Verde guided tour, boat ride on Sarapiquí river, aerial tram through the rain forest), Doka coffee plantation, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Poás Volcano, and well as overnight excursions to Arenal Volcano and Punta Leona Beach Resort. Excursions are All-Inclusive.Also included in the program: Round trip airfare from Atlanta to San José’s, airport transfers, full room and board for four weeks in Costa Rica, museum entrance tickets, weekly laundry service, health insurance, and all program fees for ILISA Language Institute.
