Jeanne Severns, MBA, CPA, CIA, Director
Jeanne was hired as Director of Internal Audits at Valdosta State University in July 2005. She has extensive experience in public and corporate accounting. She is an alumna of Valdosta State University, earning her B.B.A. in Accounting in 1984. She also received her M.B.A. from VSU, where she was voted “Outstanding M.B.A. Student for 2003”. In addition to her duties as Director of Internal Audits, Jeanne, with the help of many Six Sigma team members, coordinates the Process Improvement Reviews on the VSU Campus.

Angela Uyeno, CGA, CIA, Staff Auditor Angela joined the Office of Internal Audit as a staff auditor in January 2012. She is an alumna of the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 1996. Ava Turner, Staff Auditor
Ava joined the Office of Internal Audit as a staff auditor in June 2012. She is an alumna of Valdosta State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance with honors in 2011 and the Internal Auditing Certificate. She received her Master of Accountancy degree from VSU in July 2012. Her future plans include passing the CPA exam and becoming a licensed CPA of the State of Georgia.
